Information About Facilitating a Group

history

Overview

TBG is a valuable study tool for those seeking to leave sexual and relational brokenness in pursuit of an intimate walk with God.  The material has been constructed for individual study or group use.  Each topic is intended to challenge the participant to grow beyond his or her own limitations and find the strength in Christ.  Many people have experienced the benefits of this study and are now walking in freedom from addictions, self-hatred, self-centeredness and gender confusion.

We invite you to facilitate a group for those in your area that desire support and encouragement. We have created this program so that you can let the videos and material teach, while you simply lead discussions.

Process and Procedure

Establishing Safety: Our first desire is that everyone facilitating a group, is a safe and supportive person. We will ask that each facilitator agree to our core beliefs, doctrinal statement, guidelines for leading, and agreement to our liability agreement. Each facilitator will need to be connected to either a church or healthy ministry and have at least one person in which you are accountable. We will call this person, your "Supervisor". A Supervisor could be your ministry leader, your board chairman, a person on your elder team, or comrade in ministry, et. Have your supervisor, visit this site and read what is required of you, the facilitator.

Please review these standards before signing up as a facilitator. Ask your supervisor to read them as well. You will be asked to sign these documents to be approved:

Core beliefs  Doctrinal statement

Once you agree to the safeguards, please call Jason at 503-235-6364 for further instructions. Once you sign up as a facilitator of a group. Your group will be listed on this website, but understand that your primary participants will be people you already know within your ministry or church. You will be given a Group ID number in which you will pass on to all interested participants. Those that find your group through this site, will need to first contact you for the Group ID number (it will be up to you to decide on who participates). There is no cost for facilitators, and only $50 for each participant going through the entire program.
