portland fellowship

Since 1980, Portland Fellowship (called 'Reconcilation' from 1980-1988, led by Jerry Heacock, and from 1988-1994, led by Phil Hobizal) has been helping men and women find a way out of homosexuality through the power of Jesus Christ. With more than 20 years of research and experience, Portland Fellowship has gained recognition throughout Oregon as a leading authority on healing for same-sex attractions. Staff members have appeared throughout local and national media on such programs as The 700 Club, The Oprah Winfrey Show, ABC's World News Tonight, Good Morning America, MTV, The Sally Show, Geraldo, TBN, local and national radio programs. Jason graduated from Multnomah University in Portland Oregon and holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from Western Seminary and is an ordained minister through the church. Jason and his wife Amy are raising two boys, Trevor and Cody.
Jason has spoken locally and internationally (Full list of Jason's speaking opportunities) Jason produced the "The Map", and interactive CD ROM for youth in 2000, which developed into -- www.reachtruth.com, an online support program. Jason now oversees the www.takingbackground.com program.
